WHAT IS OPEN SOURCE??

So,Let’s start with what is open source?

Open source means it’s free and open to all.Now what I mean by this is whatever softwares and os that are in open source are exposed to everyone.You can literally view their source code which is freely available and you can download them and use them.

For example ;

 

What you see above are games available in open source.These games are freely available and you can access their source code freely but suppose you have these games on windows then, “You have to buy these games” and their source code is not available. 

So this is OPEN SOURCE
